JACKSON—Gov. Phil Bryant and officials from R-Squared Puckett, Inc. announce the company is expanding operations in Puckett, Miss., to accommodate an increase in production. For the expansion, the company will construct a 15,000-square-foot addition onto its existing facility. The project represents a $2 million corporate investment and will create 50 jobs, bringing the total number employed at the facility to approximately 200.
“I appreciate the R-Squared team for choosing to increase the company’s footprint in Puckett by expanding and creating new jobs for the area’s residents,” Gov. Phil Bryant said. “Mississippi’s existing businesses are vital to our state’s economy, and R-Squared’s expansion will strengthen the local community.”
“We are grateful to the leadership of those at the state and local levels who provide support to R-Squared as we continue to invest in our community and provide jobs for the local workforce,” said Vice General Manager of R-Squared parent company Sanhua Chunyong Zheng. “We know the productivity of our employees will continue to ensure many more successful years of operation in Puckett.”
Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for an access road. The town of Puckett, Rankin First and the Rankin County Board of Supervisors provided assistance, as well.

Founded in 1990 in Puckett, R-Squared operates as a subsidiary of Sanhua Holding Group of Zhejiang, China. R-Squared manufactures aluminum heat exchanger components for the automotive, off-road, residential and commercial air conditioning markets.
